We raise Katahdin sheep. We plan to grow our numbers over the next few years.
The sheep live out in our hilly pasture during the spring, summer, and fall months, eating nothing but luscious, green grass. When the cold weather sets in and the grass stops growing, they move into the lower level of the round barn and eat hay cut from our fields all winter. Our lamb is 100% grass fed!
Elmer and Howard, our two Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, live out with the sheep 24/7 to protect them from predators.
